The Sleepeezee Ortho Bespoke Gold 2000 is a firm, traditionally made pocket sprung mattress combining 2,000 individually pocketed barrel-shaped springs with natural fillings including British wool and cashmere.

Part of Sleepeezee's Ortho Bespoke collection, it combines traditional mattress-making techniques with a high spring count and generous natural comfort layers. The wool and cashmere add softness and cushioning to the firmer underlying feel, while the natural fillings give the mattress a breathable, traditional character.

At approximately 28cm deep, the Gold 2000 is a substantial double-sided mattress, finished with a traditional damask cover, hand tufting and hand side-stitched borders. It's designed to be turned regularly using the flag-stitched handles.

Key Features

2,000 pocket springs
The mattress contains up to 2,000 individually pocketed, barrel-shaped springs. Each spring responds independently to movement, allowing the mattress to respond across the sleeping surface while helping to reduce movement transfer between partners.

British wool
A traditional natural filling that adds softness, cushioning and breathability to the mattress.

Cashmere
A fine, lightweight natural fibre used within the comfort layers. Cashmere adds softness and cushioning while retaining the natural character of the mattress.

Firm Ortho feel
The Gold 2000 has a firmer feel, combining the support of its pocket spring unit with softer natural fillings above. As firmness is personal, we'd recommend trying it alongside other mattresses to see how it feels for you.

28cm deep
At approximately 28cm deep, there's plenty of room for the pocket spring unit and generous comfort layers.

Damask cover
Finished with a traditional Belgian damask fabric, giving the mattress a soft and durable outer covering.

Hand tufted
Traditional hand tufting helps secure the fillings within the mattress and maintain its shape over time.

Hand side-stitched borders
The mattress borders are hand side-stitched, strengthening the edges of the mattress and providing a traditional finish.

Reinforced edges
The reinforced perimeter helps provide stability around the edges and makes good use of the available sleeping surface.

Air vents
Side vents allow air to circulate through the mattress, helping to keep the internal construction well ventilated.

Double-sided
The mattress has comfort fillings on both sides, so it should be turned regularly to help even out wear. The flag-stitched handles make turning easier.
