Burgess Grande Pillow Top 5000 Mattress

The Burgess Grande Pillow Top 5000 is a no-turn mattress designed with the comfort fillings on one side, combining a high-count pocket spring unit with generous layers of natural upholstery materials and a substantial pillow top.

The mattress is available in medium or firm tension, giving you a choice of feel, while the upper layers include cashmere, wool, silk and English lambs wool, together with cotton and recycled and recyclable white fibres.

The pillow top provides additional cushioning above the main mattress, while the traditional Burgess construction includes a natural hessian spring insulator and careful hand finishing.

The Grande Pillow Top is finished with Burgess Heritage Ivory ticking, three rows of genuine hand side stitching, reinforced flag-stitched handles and hand tufting with rosebud tufts. As a no-turn mattress, it's also simpler to care for than a traditional double-sided mattress.

Natural hessian spring insulator
A layer of natural hessian is used as the spring insulator, forming part of the traditional mattress construction.

Burgess Heritage Ivory ticking
Finished with Burgess Heritage Ivory ticking, featuring a super-soft stretch feel and chemical-free flame retardancy.

No-turn design
The Grande Pillow Top has its comfort fillings on one side, so there's no need to turn the mattress over. This makes it simpler to care for than a traditional double-sided mattress.

Three rows of hand side stitching
The mattress border features three rows of genuine hand side stitching, strengthening the edges and adding to the traditional hand-finished construction.

Hand tufted with rosebud tufts
Traditional hand tufting with rosebud tufts helps secure the upholstery layers and maintain the shape of the mattress.

Reinforced flag-stitched handles
Strong flag-stitched handles are fitted to the sides of the mattress to assist with rotating and handling.

Distinctive contrast tape edging
